Bible verse
For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.

i've always know my reasons for joining catechism. you'll get to relearn everything again. and its not boring...well especially my secondary catechism for the first year was like CRAP! honestly.
faith:blindly trusting and believing God
religion:putting faith into action
i wanna share another way my friend was sharing to the class. to me, its a very interesting way to interact with God.
this is a form of meditation. but you don't have to sit cross-legged and start humming or whatever. LOL.
take a deep breath and breathe out. do it a couple of times until your whole body is relax. actually this is the part where you close your eyes. but i don't think whoever is reading can do that cause you still have to read on...so just relax your body and keep steady breathing.
next picture yourself sitting on the mountain top. very peaceful, no irritating noises can be heard. now imagine yourself, from the position you are sitted, looking over a city. also picture the whole city covered with the setting sun.
how do you feel right then? (take a moment to think and relax)
imagine now, that you sense someone behind you. a hermit leaving in the mountains walked and stood right besides you. now he starts to talk to you and say " go to the city and there you'll see God"
now what does your heart tells you to do? go running down the mountain to the city?
lets imagine now that you are in front of the city. what does your heart tells you to do to search for God? go straight? left? or right? to a park? noisy street?
after you imagine the place you are at and how you got there...how do you feel then? what are your feelings?calm, happy, joyful?
now picture God coming to you...He can come in different forms... and it doesn't matter. just picture Him.
how did you see Him?and what were your feelings then?
after God came to you and He left. take a good look at the place you imagine...and then, start walking back to the mountains to the place you just sat minutes ago.
actually this is the time where the person says open your eyes. cause these whole sentences and passages were supposed to be read out.
anyway, now how you feel?good? once you are done with the meditation...
for me, i felt calm after the meditation. i pictured myself running down the mountains after what i heard the hermit said. and in front of the city, my heart was telling me to go straight forward all the way till i reached an old church. but in the picture it was bathed in beautiful light. there was a bell on top of the church. and the street that i was in was deserted. as i was standing looking at the church, i felt peaceful and suddenly i felt God touched my shoulder and head. then as sudden as it came, He was gone with the cool breeze.
